His piano music is all over TV shows and films, yet, he’s out of the spotlight. If you’re not convinced yet, let’s say that he’s the most streamed classical artist in the world. He is Ludovico Einaudi, an Italian pianist/composer born 23 November 1955, who creates minimalist and contemporary classical music. He trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in milan, an conservatory that was established by a royal decree of 1807 in Milan, capital of the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy. His music is featured in numerous films, commercials, and televisions.
Most of his music releases are chart-topping albums, his concerts at prestigious concert halls worldwide are always sold out, constantly composes award-winning film scores, and is also on his way to internet phenomenon. He has recently occupied all of the top 10 ranks on the iTunes classical singles chart, which is more than Beethoven.
He subsequently scored a number of Italian films, winning the ‘Grolla d’oro’ for best soundtrack in 1996. In 2010 Einaudi wrote the music for the trailer for ‘Black Swan’ and the film ‘I’m Still Here’ (2010). Einaudi music was also used in the TV drama ‘This Is England 86’ and numerous other popular works that are too many for me to list.
